The Land Trust mainly works within the watershed of the North Branch of the Susquehanna River. We concentrate on protecting watershed lands, habitat for indigenous plant and animal species, lands with naturally scenic views, working lands such as farms and sustainable forests, and lands that provide passive recreation opportunities. More specifically we have developed a Strategic Conservation Plan which helps us prioritize our conservation efforts. Areas of concentration have been developed utilizing, scientific studies, census data, and the collaborative efforts of regional conservation partners. This is a living plan and will change from time-to-time based on new data.
