“In the spirit of spreading the love around, in honor of both Mom and Eb, and in honor of the land they loved so much and that we have enjoyed for 40 plus years! The goal is to fund internships at the Land Trust so that young people have the opportunity to learn about conservation and other environmental issues. Not only is it crucial that the next generation be exposed to nature, but also that all communities be exposed to it, and learn to love and care for it. Mom and Eb had a big impact on that small community and will be remembered by many, many people with love and affection.” – Deidre Smith

Mary Louise and Eberhard Faber were so much to so many people here in Northeastern Pennsylvania. While many may have known them through enterprise and philanthropy, North Branch Land Trust has always known the Faber’s as ardent conservationists. We are thrilled to see their passion live on.
