Winter Animal Survival Program for Kids Ages 7-10

March 1, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

- Free

Join NBLT Environmental Educator, Charlene Wildes on a journey to discover what animals do to survive months of cold weather and less food. Through investigation, games and exploration, children will have a better understanding of how animals, birds and insects survive our harsh Pennsylvania winter. They will learn about hibernation, migration and adaptation.

This program will take place at the beautiful Bear Creek Camp.

Thanks to a grant from The Luzerne Foundation, this program is free, includes a snack, book and T-shirt to enhance the learning experience.

This program is limited to 15 kids, so please register early. Registration deadline is February 21st.

To register please call the NBLT office at 570-310-1781 or email info@nblt.org. A registration waiver will be emailed and must be completed by a parent or guardian and returned.
