Calling all hikers, citizen scientists, nature photographers, and outdoor enthusiasts! Join North Branch Land Trust at Howland Preserve (soon to be Vosburg Neck State Park) to catalog species.
Led by Penn State’s soon-to-be-graduate of Energy and Sustainability Policy, Melissa Lopez, the Bio-Blitz aims to catalog as many species as possible over a one-week period.

No prior field experience is required. Participants can use the iNaturalist or Seek species identification app

The Blitz will occur on October 10-16 from sunrise to sunset. Melissa will be present to guide participants on October 10, 12 & 13. Participants may self-guide Blitz dates for any length of time.
