Paula Fall and Brian Gettig will lead us on an approximate 4-mile easy to moderate hike around Crystal Lake in the Pinchot State Forest off of Laurel Run Road on Saturday, February 9, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The highlight of the hike will be at the midpoint when we will be able to take in the beautiful view of the reservoir. Paula and Brian will also showcase the improvements the State Forest is making for public access to the land.

Hikers are expected to be able to traverse roots, rocks, puddles, swampy sections, and hike a moderate incline. Sturdy waterproof boots and winter gear are recommended. Please arrive 15 minutes early for the hike begins promptly at 10:00 am. The hike will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.

No charge for NBLT members or non-members, but registration by 5 pm Thursday, February 7, is required. The participation limit is 25 attendees, so don’t delay, register today.
