Join NBLT Environmental Educator, Charlene Wildes to learn what “backyard” animals need to survive and why they might visit your backyard.
Fox, deer, squirrels and birds are just a few that frequent your backyard and neighborhood. Investigate these familiar animals to find out what makes them unique.
We will play a game, create snacks that look like animals and take a walk around the pond at the George and Lillian Wildlife Sanctuary.
Thanks to a grant provided by The Luzerne Foundation this program is free, includes a snack, book and T-shirt to enhance the learning experience.
This program is limited to 15 kids, so please register early. Registration deadline is September 6.
To register please call the NBLT office at 570-310-1781 or email info@nblt.org. A registration waiver will be emailed and must be completed by a parent or guardian and returned.
