Join us for hands-on events that connect people with the land, celebrate the outdoors, and directly support conservation across northeastern Pennsylvania. From volunteer days and guided hikes to family-friendly programs and seasonal celebrations, every event is a chance to engage with nature and our mission. Donations are welcome and help ensure these experiences remain possible for our entire community.
Do you know what lives under that rock? What about that log? Join North Branch Land Trust for “What’s Under That?”, a family nature hike. Be prepared to find different insects, amphibians, and plant/fungi life.
Recommended Attire: Closed toe shoes or hiking boots, long pants. | Water bottle recommended!

Join North Branch Land Trust and rejoice in nature’s own embellishments. Participants will walk ASTA’s David Rimple Loop and forage natural items to decorate a wreath. Just in time for the holidays!

Spend your morning at Abide Coffeehouse with North Branch Land Trust and decorate your very own nature-inspired holiday ornament! Abigail Domoracki will lead a beginner’s step-by-step ornament painting session. Enjoy environmental educations & artistic tips and tricks, or stop by and grab a coffee!

Spend your morning at the George & Lillian Picton Wildlife Sanctuary with North Branch Land Trust! Learn branches, bark, and other clues that can help you identify trees in Northeastern PA, no matter what time of year!
