Bear Creek Lakeview Preserve
The Bear Creek Lake View Preserve located in Bear Creek Village, Luzerne County, lies along the southern edge of Wyoming Mountain and forms the northwestern edge of the borough of Bear Creek Village. The Preserve has over 1000 feet of frontage on State Route 115 (Bear Creek Boulevard).
The Sanctuary adjoins 3,247 acres of private Easements stewarded by North Branch Land Trust, and is near State Game Land # 91 and a conserved 3,500-acre property owned by Natural Lands Trust—collectively a magnificent tract of wildlife habitat for forest-dwelling species of flora and fauna.

Bear Creek Lakeview Preserve History:
North Branch Land Trust came to own Bear Creek Lakeview Preserve in 2007 during a wider push for conservation in the Bear Creek region. Although inaccessible to public recreation, this preserve provides a vital connection between conserved lands to the north and south as part of a more than 40-mile natural corridor between State Game Lands in Jenkins Township and those in Carbon County.
